»KRISTALLNACHT« – Anti-Jewish Terror 1938. Events and Reminder

Exhibition

Eighty years after the state and party terror against the Jewish population in November 1938, this exhibition traces the events of that time. On the basis of six little-known photo series from the German Reich, it becomes clear to what extent the violence emanated from local perpetrators and that it took place ›before all eyes‹. At the same time, the eventful memory of 9/10 November 1938 is presented for the first time to the present day.

Concept:
The exhibition is a joint project of the Foundations Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and Topography of Terror. Funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media and the Senate Administration for Culture and Europe of the State of Berlin
