The issue “Raihorod and Sobolivka: The Life and Death of the Jewish Communities” is part of a series of studies on the local history of the Holocaust in Ukraine.
The research and publications were prepared by Ukrainian colleagues and successfully completed in 2022 and 2023 under difficult working conditions due to the war.
The depictions are based on sources from Ukrainian and international archives, scientific literature and private collections.
This digital publication was created as part of the “Connecting Memory” project. This publication is intended to preserve local Holocaust history and make it accessible to a wide circle of interested parties.
Both the project and the historical research, which resulted in this publication, have been funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
This brochure was written in Ukrainian. At the end there is an English summary.
